At Cognizant we promote an inclusive culture, where we value different perspectives providing career growth and development opportunities. #WelcomeToCognizant! **Requirements:** • 3 years of experience in Java Spring Boot backend systems. • Solid understanding of React Native (or React.js) and ability to debug front-end issues. • Expertise in Kafka (consumer group behavior, message tracing, topic lag analysis). • Proficient in MongoDB, including performance analysis and query tuning. • Deep understanding of microservices architecture and cloud-native applications. • Proficient in working with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab) • ADVANCED ENGLISH IS A MUST Key Responsibilities: • Lead troubleshooting and resolution of high-impact production issues involving front-end, back-end, and infrastructure components. • Perform deep-dive analysis of incidents to identify root causes and propose long-term fixes. • Collaborate with L2 teams, developers, QA, DevOps, and SRE teams to drive incident resolution and post-mortem analysis. • Own critical incidents from escalation to closure, ensuring timely communication and updates to stakeholders. • Review application logs, Kafka streams, database queries, and search behavior to diagnose complex problems. • Identify and implement monitoring improvements and alerting strategies. • Contribute to system reliability by recommending architectural or code-level improvements based on recurring incidents. • Participate in on-call rotation and act as SME for specific applications or components.
