Your future duties and responsibilities:

Job Description:

Experienced Java Backend Developer to design and implement scalable backend systems using Microservices architecture and Apache Kafka for real-time data streaming. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java frameworks and distributed systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement secure, scalable backend services using Spring Boot.
• Develop microservices and integrate with Kafka for event streaming.
• Manage relational databases and optimize queries.
• Deploy and monitor applications on Azure using Docker/Kubernetes.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and ensure code quality.
• Ensure adherence to best practices.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Implement unit tests, integration tests.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the stack.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in backend development with Java 8+.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Microservices design patterns.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka (topics, partitions, consumer groups, schema registry).
• Proficiency in RESTful APIs, JSON, and message-driven architecture.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Knowledge of security best practices (OAuth2, JWT, encryption).
• Proficiency in ORM frameworks like Hibernate/JPA.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito) and API documentation tools (Swagger/OpenAPI).
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
