Job Description Insight Global is looking for a Application Support Engineer for the Compliance Production Management organization at a large financial institution. The ideal candidate will have a developer background and will be responsible for ensuring the stability, reliability, and performance of critical applications. They will provide real-time support for applications and production systems, including incident triage, defect resolution, and compliance-related tasks. They will be responsible for batch scheduling, incident management, keeping engine up and running, and change release. This candidate is required to come on-site 3 days a week in Plano, TX. Key Responsibilities: • Identify and implement improvements in monitoring, application stability, and root cause analysis speed. • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues using advanced query and programming skills. • Collaborate with Technology Infrastructure and Development teams to support software/hardware upgrades, releases, and server maintenance. • Lead restoration efforts for technical service disruptions, ensuring timely updates to stakeholders. • Assess incident severity, document impacts, create tickets (e.g., MyITSM), and escalate as needed. Skills and Requirements • 3-5 years' hands on experience as a Developer working on automating applications • 3-5 years' hands on experience with Unix, Python, or PowerShell scripting • 3-5 years' hands on experience with Database (Oracle Terdata) • Experience in ETL tool - Informatica. • Experience in monitoring tools like ITRS Geneous, Splunk, Tableau, or Dynatrace • Hands on experience in Hadoop • Experience in Job scheduling tool - Autosys.
