We are seeking a dedicated janitorial worker for the 3rd shift to join our team. This active role involves maintaining cleanliness across various areas of an industrial facility, including offices, hallways, cleanrooms, staircases, storage rooms, restrooms, and a café. The position requires dusting, sweeping, mopping, operating a floor scrubber, and replacing trash bins. Cleanrooms necessitate the use of specialized equipment such as a backpack vacuum and sterile mops. The role includes participating in regular cleaning events, such as weekly, monthly, and quarterly purges of cleanroom surfaces.

ResponsibilitiesClean offices, hallways, staircases, and storage rooms.Maintain cleanliness in restrooms and café areas by cleaning microwaves, fridges, and countertops.Use a backpack vacuum and sterile mop for cleanrooms, ensuring all surfaces are thoroughly cleaned.Participate in 'Purge' events: weekly cleaning of countertops, monthly cleaning of walls, and quarterly cleaning of ceilings.Replace sticky mats in front of cleanroom doors.Suit up with appropriate protective gear for cleanroom entry.Essential Skills1+ years of cleaning experience.Positive attitude and personality.Dependability and consistency.Comfortable using a backpack vacuum.Open to wearing proper lab attire including a body suit, glasses, and hood.Ability to work without makeup, perfume, nails, or jewelry.Willingness to work up to 6 weeks.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience operating a floor scrubber.Familiarity with custodial tasks such as sweeping, housekeeping, vacuuming, mopping, and dusting.Ability to safely clean and post wet floor signs.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

This role involves working within a two-floor industrial facility that includes labs, office spaces, restrooms, and storage areas. The position primarily requires independent work, though collaboration with partners may be necessary for certain tasks. The shift runs from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, Sunday through Thursday, with potential overtime of 0-5 hours. The dress code requires closed-toed shoes and khakis or nice pants. All cleaning and protective equipment for cleanrooms is provided.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
