**Job Title: Janitorial Worker** **Job Description** Deliver a high-quality cleaning service to create a safe and healthy environment for our community, which includes an on-site health clinic, classrooms, and offices. The EVS Custodian role involves completing a list of scheduled cleaning tasks and ensuring all areas of the site are clean and well-maintained. Tasks may vary daily based on business needs, but there are general protocols to follow each day. **Responsibilities** + Clean chairs, tables, podiums, dry erase boards, mirrors, and treatment tables in classrooms. + Clean floors, walls, and mirrors in various areas. + Restock classroom supplies as needed. + Clean floors (vacuum or linoleum) in clinics and offices. + Set up and break down chairs, tables, and podiums. + Provide needed resources such as power strips and extension cords. + Maintain general cleanliness of bathrooms, including emptying trash and restocking supplies. + Maintain cleanliness of the facility, both inside and outside. + Clean kitchen and lounges, including appliances, water coolers, sinks, and countertops. + Restock supplies and empty trash/recycling as needed. + Respond to immediate needs such as spills and safety hazards. + Manage inventory in supply closets and distribute supplies to janitorial closets and classrooms. + Communicate supply needs and report inventory losses to the Facilities Manager. **Essential Skills** + Experience in cleaning, housekeeping, and janitorial tasks. + Proficiency in floor care, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, waxing, and buffing. + Experience using custodial equipment and cleaning chemicals safely. + Ability to lift 25+ lbs and stand on feet for extended periods. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 1+ years of experience in similar roles. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a close-knit, family-like atmosphere with a smaller team.
