**Job Title: Janitor** **Job Description** As a Janitor, you will be responsible for managing various types of waste within the building. This includes handling cardboard by operating the cardboard bailer and moving bales as directed. You will also be tasked with disposing of metals in the proper dumpster, containing and removing oils by placing them in appropriate containers, and managing general trash by moving it from the plant floor to dumpsters. Your role will require the ability and experience to operate a forklift to move bales of cardboard and other items. **Responsibilities** + Operate cardboard bailer and move bales as directed. + Dispose of metals in the proper dumpster. + Contain, remove, and place oils in appropriate containers. + Move general trash from the plant floor to dumpsters. + Operate a forklift to move bales of cardboard and other items. + Be mindful of the storage of certain liquids such as oils and cleaning solvents. **Essential Skills** + Experience in janitorial duties and trash removal. + Ability to lift 40 lbs. + Experience using a forklift for trash removal. + Understanding of different materials including oils, cleaning solvents, cardboard, and metals. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Warren, Michigan. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
