Position Title: Janitor, Residential Custodial Services Posting Number: C260012 Employer: State Salary Range: $38,235 FTE: 1.00 Position Summary: Campus Living (https://www.buffalo.edu/campusliving.html) invites applications for our Janitor position. In this role, you will perform cleaning and general janitorial services in Campus Living’s residential and institutional facilities. Your duties will include: + Clean and service buildings by sweeping and mopping offices, halls, stairways, and other units + Wax and buff floors + Gather and dispose of refuse + Service lavatories and fixtures + Clean lighting fixtures, replace light bulbs, and wash windows + Move furniture and equipment as applicable + Assist with sweeping walks, shoveling snow + Supervise the work of other staff as applicable; provide day to day assignments + Respond to requests and the emergency need for janitorial services At Campus Living, we are a community that welcomes and celebrates every student, staff, and guest with all of their diverse identities, beliefs and ways of thinking. Minimum Qualifications: + Applicant must be able to physically perform the tasks of the position and to communicate effectively to obtain and convey information.
