Make Your Mark at Prysmian! **Team Overview and Job Responsibilities** What You'll Do: + Direct supervision of the Process Engineering resources + Delivery of process / equipment improvements for high quality, high yields and minimal downtime + Data analysis to identify improvement opportunities + Maintain departmental performance metrics (yields, etc.) + Interface with other departments to establish priorities, manage downtime for trials and maintenance, etc. + Manage and deliver cost reduction, efficiency improvement and capacity expansion projects + Contribute technical problem solving as needed for the support of general production + Maintain departmental cost center expense and capital budgets + Ensure all product meets requirements as defined by the Plant’s Quality Management Systems + Comply with all applicable safety procedures and ISO14001 EMS guidelines + Other duties as assigned by supervisor or a member of management Education: Required: BS ME, EE, IE Preferred: BS in Management & Engineering Experience Required: • 10 year’s experience in a manufacturing support or developmental role for technical processes, products and equipment • 5 years of experience in a supervisory role • Must complete OJT for specific job classification, as required, in a timely manner Preferred: • 2 years experience in optical fiber, cable or plastics manufacturing processes • 2 years experience managing Engineering or Maintenance personnel Skills/Attributes: • Leadership abilities. • Ability to prioritize and maintain focus, for both the individual and the department as a whole, in a rapidly changing manufacturing environment. • Analytical technical problem solver. • Meets objectives with no supervision. • Motivated team player with a professional and positive attitude. • Able to learn new technical skills quickly. • Results oriented and careful about documentation of work. • Ability to communicate technical issues to all levels of the organization. • Willing to work overtime and flexible hours, including holidays to support emergencies and planned maintenance activities. _Prysmian, as an Equal Opportunity Employer, aims to attract and recruit individuals with diverse backgrounds, skills, and abilities.
