The Opportunity:
As a CACI J4 Logistics Planner you will plan, coordinate and execute logistics operations in support of SOCAFRICA mission requirements. You will work closely with other staff elements, including Operations, Intelligence, and Communications, to ensure that logistics operations are properly planned, resourced, and executed. You will develop and maintain logistics plans (including paragraph 4 Sustainment and Annex D Logistics for CONPLANS, OPLANS, Campaign Plans, and crisis action plans) and concepts of logistics to support command operations, including supply chain management, maintenance, transportation, and logistics infrastructure development. Additionally, you will develop and maintain supply chain management plans to ensure that all necessary supplies, equipment, and services are procured, stored, and distributed to support operations ICW lead service and Base Operations Support Integrators (BOS-I). Finally, you will develop and maintain maintenance and sustainment plans to ensure that all equipment and systems are properly maintained and sustained to support operations.
More About the Role:
The J4 Logistics Planner coordinates with other staff elements, including Operations, Intelligence, and Communications, to ensure that logistics operations are properly planned, resourced, and executed. You will develop and maintain transportation plans to ensure that all personnel, equipment, and supplies are transported safely and efficiently to support operations. Additionally, you will develop and maintain contingency plans to address logistics challenges and disruptions, including natural disasters, enemy action, and other crises. Finally, you will participate in training and exercises to ensure that logistics operations are properly planned, executed, and evaluated, and provide briefings, reports and analysis on logistics operations, including lessons learned, best practices, and areas for improvement.

Required:
The J4 Logistics Planner must possess a Secret security clearance. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in logistics planning and operations, including experience in supply chain management, maintenance, transportation, and logistics infrastructure development. Be a graduate of the Command and General Staff College (CGSC) or other service equivalent. Possess a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as logistics, supply chain management, or a related field, is preferred. Knowledge of logistics planning principles, including supply chain management, maintenance, transportation, and logistics infrastructure development.Knowledge of supply chain management principles, including procurement, storage, and distribution.Knowledge of maintenance and sustainment principles, including equipment maintenance, repair, and sustainment.Knowledge of transportation principles, including transportation planning, coordination, and execution.Knowledge of logistics infrastructure development principles, including warehouse management, fuel storage, and other logistics facilities. Contingency Planning: Knowledge of contingency planning principles, including crisis management, emergency response, and business continuity planning.Knowledge of training and exercise principles, including scenario development, exercise design, and evaluation.Knowledge of report writing, briefing development and presentation, and analysis principles, including data analysis, trend analysis, and recommendations for improvement.Desired:
School of Advanced Military Studies or other service equivalentPMP, CAPM, APICS, or ISM certification.Experience with software applications including word processing and the ability to modify/tailor existing databases to generate, manipulate, and analyze logistics data. Possess a minimum of ten (10) years of experience developing, acquiring, fielding, sustaining, and safely disposing of materiel by leveraging domestic, organic, commercial, and foreign technologies to meet SOCAFRICA’s current and future mission requirements.Possess a minimum of five (5) years of experience locating, acquiring, and transporting standard and non-standard equipment and supplies through military and non-military supply sources to meet unit readiness and operational requirements.Successful completion of the Joint Humanitarian Operations Course (JHOC).Successful completion of the Development in Vulnerable Environments (DIVE 1.0) Course.Candidate will qualify for:

The proposed salary range for this position is:
