J.P. Morgan Wealth Management- Vice President, Retirement Solutions Product Specialist
The Retirement Solutions team within J.P. Morgan Wealth Management leads to strategic initiatives to grow the Individual Retirement Account (IRA) business, with a focus on advisor engagement and regulatory change management. They collaborate extensively with various project teams and senior stakeholders to support regulatory initiatives, manage complex IRA investments, and assist advisors with retirement product inquiries. Additionally, the team conducts competitive research in wealth management, develops business metrics, and prepares detailed analyses and presentations for senior management, while maintaining strong partnerships with business and control groups. As a Vice President in Retirement Solutions you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our individual retirement offerings. This position is integral to supporting our advisors in delivering exceptional service across various wealth segments. You will lead and assist in initiatives focused on advisor engagement and regulatory changes, collaborating with key stakeholders across business, operations, technology, tax, legal, and compliance to drive impactful results. **Job Responsibilities:** + Lead and assist in executing strategic initiatives to support and grow the Individual Retirement Account (IRA) business, focusing on advisor engagement and regulatory change management. + Be a core partner working with various project teams supporting regulatory initiatives. Involves extensive collaboration and synthesis of information for senior stakeholders. + Manage the Off-Platform Alternative Investment and Oversight Process, coordinating with advisors, clients, fund representatives, and internal/external legal partners to support this type of complex IRA investment. Includes developing training and working with control partners. + Assist advisors with inquiries related to retirement products and processes, including navigating complex client situations such as those involving client death and divorce and customized beneficiary designations. May involve reviewing legal and/or investment related documentation. + Research and analyze the competitive landscape in wealth management, identifying best-in-class competitors and trends, and staying informed on regulatory changes. Develop metrics for the business to leverage. + Serve as a subject matter expert and advocate for the retirement product offering. + Prepare detailed analyses and presentations for senior management. + Collaborate closely with stakeholders from business and control groups (tax, legal, risk, and compliance). **Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:** + Bachelor's degree + Minimum of 5 years of experience in wealth management + Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially PowerPoint and Excel. + Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple fast-paced initiatives. + Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly. + Ability to work independently, efficiently, and with a focus on quality while also being a team player with ability to form strong partnerships. + Strong integrity and discretion in handling confidential information. **Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:** + Legal background is a plus + Focus on IRA/retirement products is a plus. + Experience in program/project management is preferred, including experience working with process and workflow improvement initiatives.
