The Investment Product and Platform team within J.P. Morgan Wealth Management oversees the investment platform for over 6,000 advisors and millions of clients. Our mandate is to curate the investment product offering and enhance the investment platform, focusing on improving client outcomes and advisor experiences. The team collaborates extensively with various stakeholders to drive industry-leading solutions. Additionally, the team supports business case development, conducts competitive research across the wealth management industry, and prepares analyses and presentations to effect change.
**As an Associate on the Investment Product and Platform team, you will support investment specialists, product development, manager research, and other areas to help enhance our expansive investment product offering and advisor toolset. Your work will contribute to improving the day-to-day experience of our advisors and delivering investment products that help clients achieve their life goals. You will gain exposure to managed and brokerage accounts, mutual funds, ETFs, money market funds, alternative investments, structured products, and portfolio analysis tools.**
**Job Responsibilities:**
+ Assist with the maintenance and enhancement of industry-leading investment solutions in collaboration with J.P. Morgan Wealth Management Solutions and Practice Management teams.
+ Monitor industry trends and competitive positioning, and help prepare recommendations for opportunities to advance the investment product offering and advisor toolset.
+ Conduct research and analysis on the competitive landscape in wealth management, identifying best-in-class competitors and trends.
+ Support the preparation of analyses and presentations for senior management.
+ Collaborate with stakeholders from business and control groups, including solutions, legal, risk, and compliance.
+ Develop subject matter expertise in the investment product offering and act as a resource for the team.
**Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
+ 1+ years of experience in wealth management, financial services, or a related industry.
+ Strong analytical, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
+ Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate information.
+ Interest in learning about wealth management products, platforms, and industry trends.
**Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:**
+ Progress toward CFA or CFP designation is a plus.
+ Interest or experience in investment products, including managed accounts, IRA/retirement products, and alternative investments, is a plus.
+ Experience or coursework in program/project management or process improvement initiatives is preferred.
+ Exposure to investment products or platforms preferred.
