IWS Manager 

 

 

We are seeking a proactive and skilled IWS Manager to lead the deployment of the Integrated Work System (IWS) across our plant. In this role, you will be a key driver of cultural transformation, applying the “Learn-Do-Train” methodology to embed IWS principles into production lines and departments in alignment with our implementation roadmap and business goals. You will also play a critical role in building site-wide capabilities by strengthening PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) practices, actively supporting IWS Pillar activities, and fostering ownership of systems and operational standards. 

  

Position:

 

As an IWS Manager, you will: 

Track and support the performance of assigned lines/areas based on the IWS implementation plan 

Drive actions to meet KPIs and coach teams on KPI interpretation and achievement 

Train teams on Loss Elimination Tools and IWS Standards 

Support daily activities, reports, and data analysis; provide real-time feedback and coaching 

Lead top loss analysis and coach teams on IWS tools and systems 

Conduct system health checks and support the improvement of plant-wide systems 

Participate in DDS (Daily Direction Setting) meetings and coach adherence to standards and reporting 

Take ownership of IWS Daily Management Systems (DMS) in assigned areas and actively contribute to Pillar activities 

 

Requirements:  

 

Education: University degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field 

Experience: Minimum 4-5 years of relevant experience in a production or continuous improvement environment 

Language: Proficient in English & Romanian (spoken and written) 

Other skills and knowledge:    

Strong computer skills: MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), preferably SAP, Power BI

Preferred knowledge and/or experience in manufacturing process performance, quality management, production planning, machine operation, product and process knowledge (ideally in cigarette manufacturing)

Strong coordination, coaching, and communication skills
