Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Supply Chain Professional to join our ISC MR Planning team as an IWD Operations & Process Manager. In this global, individual contributor role, you will take ownership of key processes related to order orchestration, carrier performance, and distribution strategy, while driving cross-functional initiatives to enhance the performance of our Inbound/Outbound Distribution (IWD) operations.

The MR (Magnetic Resonance) supply chain spans multiple global sites, offering a complex and dynamic environment. You will work closely with teams across logistics, warehousing, planning, and customer operations to optimize supply chain execution, support global initiatives, and ensure best-in-class service to our customers—all without direct people management responsibilities.


Your role:

Coordinate and optimize end-to-end order orchestration, ensuring timely and accurate shipment execution from manufacturing sites to customers.Drive process improvements within the IWD domain, focusing on enhancing operational efficiency, OTIF (On-Time In-Full) performance, and customer satisfaction.Manage and monitor carrier performance, including data analysis, KPI reporting, and issue resolution in collaboration with logistics partners.Contribute to the development of global carrier strategy, supporting the selection and evaluation of transportation providers and identifying areas for service and cost improvements.Act as a point of contact for critical escalations, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external providers to resolve distribution issues and maintain service commitments.Represent IWD in cross-functional and global initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and sharing expert input from a distribution and execution perspective.Support E2E supply chain initiatives by identifying pain points, proposing solutions, and collaborating across teams to ensure successful implementation.Analyze operational data and industry trends to provide insights and actionable recommendations for supply chain and logistics optimization.Build effective relationships with key internal partners (planning, operations, warehousing, customer fulfillment) and external logistics providers to drive improvements and ensure seamless execution.


You're the right fit if:

Minimum of 7 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or distribution roles, ideally within a global, complex organization.Proven expertise in order orchestration, carrier management, and distribution process optimization.Strong understanding of warehousing, transportation networks, and third-party logistics (3PL) environments.Experience driving process and performance improvements without direct authority, through influence and collaboration.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and align stakeholders across functions and regions.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; capable of using data to identify root causes, evaluate “what-if” scenarios, and support decision-making.Comfortable working independently, managing priorities, and proactively driving results across teams.
