IVI System Lead
Job Requirements

We are looking for a skilled Lead IVI System Engineer to take ownership of end-to-end system engineering activities for automotive infotainment systems. The role involves leading requirement engineering, system architecture, integration and validation activities while coordinating across software, hardware, HMI and vehicle feature teams. The lead also need to ensure high quality delivery of IVI features and mentor team members in system engineering best practices.

Education - B. Tech, B.E, MCA, BCA, Diploma in Computer Engineering\\Electronics\\Communication Engineering

Key Responsibilities

Lead the elicitation, analysis, and documentation of system requirements for IVI features based on customer needs and regulatory standards.Translate customer and OEM requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications.Define the system architecture, ECU interactions, sequence flow and detailed specification of each functionality. Collaborate with cross functional teams for function alignment, spec clarifications, integration planning and issue resolution.Conduct system level validation and verification activities, including execution and reporting.Conduct and lead requirement reviews, design reviews and interface reviews with internal teams and external stakeholders.Support integration of IVI systems with vehicle networks, diagnostics and other ECUs.Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery.

Mentor junior engineers and guide them in best practices for system engineering, requirements management and validation.



Work Experience

Primary Skills/Requirements

6-10 years of experience in automotive IVI or infotainment system engineering, with at least 3+ years in lead or coordinator role.Strong understanding of automotive IVI architecture, infotainment features, and vehicle networks.Strong expertise in requirement engineering, specification writing and traceability management.Knowledge of HMI, multimedia, connectivity, Telematics and other vehicle features.Intra and inter ECU communication knowledge.Proficiency in CAN, LIN, Ethernet communication protocols and diagnostic standards (UDS, OBD-II).Hands-on experience in creating UML diagrams to represent system requirements, workflows and ECU interactions. (Use cases, sequences, state diagrams etc.)Proficient with JIRA or similar requirement and test management tools.Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.Knowledge of FOTA and Diagnostic tools.Familiarity with ISO 26262 Functional safety standards
