IV Certified Pharmacy Technician Contract Admixture Pharmacy Technician – Flower Mound, TX Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (30-minute lunch) - shift is flexible Compensation: Up to $26/hour + (based on experience) Location: Flower Mound, TX About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Admixture Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Flower Mound. This role involves alternating between chemotherapy and non-chemotherapy medication preparation, supporting an average patient volume of 40–50 per day. You’ll collaborate with a fellow technician during the morning shift and work independently in the afternoon. This is a contract role (8-13 weeks)! Key Responsibilities Compound and admix medications under supervision Verify medication orders for completeness and accuracy Prepare IV admixtures per physician orders and safety guidelines Perform dosage calculations and conversions Maintain controlled substance records and inventory logs Dispose of hazardous materials per regulations Conduct daily hood cleaning and monthly drug checks Maintain temperature and quality assurance logs Assist with labeling, documentation, and pre-billing review Support inventory management and ordering Ensure cleanliness and compliance in the admixture area Requirements Active Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP) registration Active PTCB License IV certification Proficiency in aseptic technique and sterile compounding Oncology or high-volume IV experience preferred Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment What We Offer Competitive pay up to $26+/hour Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends Comprehensive benefits: health, dental, vision, 401(k) Opportunity to grow within a reputable healthcare organization APPLY TODAY!
