Description Atlanta healthcare is implementing Freshworks as its enterprise ITSM platform and is hiring an ITSM Developer to support, enhance, and integrate the platform. This developer will work with the platform administrator, internal IT teams, and Freshworks’ implementation partner to build workflows, automate processes, integrate enterprise systems, and ensure a stable, scalable ITSM ecosystem. This is a hands‑on technical role focused on backend configuration, API integrations, data flow, and execution of defined workflows. The developer will translate business requirements into functional solutions and ensure the platform evolves with continuous improvement in mind. Primary Responsibilities Platform Development and Configuration Build and configure Freshworks ITSM modules including Incident, Request, Problem, Change, Asset, and CMDB. Develop custom workflows and automate processes. Create and maintain forms, fields, business rules, routing logic, and catalog items. Support portal enhancements and user experience improvements. Integration and Automation Build and support integrations with enterprise applications, including PeopleSoft, Active Directory, cloud platforms, and monitoring tools. Implement API‑based integrations (REST, SOAP) and move away from legacy flat‑file processes. Ensure real‑time, accurate data exchange across systems. CMDB and IT Operations Support CMDB buildout, data governance, and relationship mapping. Assist in operational intelligence, event routing, and service mapping. Quality, Testing, Deployment Develop unit tests, perform peer review, and support change control processes. Deploy updates in alignment with ITIL best practices. Cross‑Team Collaboration Partner with the platform administrator to validate requirements, prototype solutions, and build in alignment with the Freshworks recommended model. Engage with internal stakeholders to confirm that workflows meet operational needs. Participate in discovery activities with the Freshworks implementation partner. Documentation and Support Produce clear technical documentation. Provide knowledge transfer to internal teams. Support ongoing improvement and backlog grooming using Agile and Scrum processes. Minimum Qualifications Three or more years of experience as an ITSM Developer. Strong proficiency with JavaScript and common scripting languages. Experience building workflows, integrations, rules, and automation across modern ITSM platforms. Experience in Freshworks is preferred but not required. Knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs. Experience with CMDB, data governance, and IT operations concepts. Familiarity with Agile and Scrum practices. Preferred Qualifications: Freshworks experience or experience with comparable tools such as ServiceNow, Halo, Ivanti, Cherwell. Experience supporting enterprise integrations in large environments. ITIL Foundation certification. Exposure to PeopleSoft, cloud environments (AWS, Azure), and enterprise identity platforms.
