Item Manager – Medium Caliber (5216))

Bennett Aerospace Inc., a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC, and a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking an Item Manager – Medium Caliber to provide program management support for the Program Manager for Maneuver Ammunition Systems (PM MAS). The Item Manager will lead Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), oversee cost, schedule, and performance for medium caliber armament systems, and support acquisition and production documentation efforts.

Position Responsibilities

Lead IPTs to manage development, improvement, and production of medium caliber ammunition programs.Establish and maintain tracking systems for acquisition documents (ASRs, APBs, ADMs, TCs, APs, SOAs, etc.).Prepare programmatic updates and deliver briefings to leadership as required.Review and provide input to technical data packages (TDPs), participate in technical discussions, and provide direction based on organizational recommendations.Participate in weekly meetings, program reviews, and site visits at government, contractor, and subcontractor facilities.Monitor funding obligations and disbursements to ensure compliance with OSD goals.Apply management and organizational principles to plan, implement, and evaluate acquisition programs.

 

Position Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Program Management, or related field.7+ years of experience in program management, defense acquisition, or ammunition systems.Familiarity with Army acquisition processes and medium caliber ammunition programs.Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.Ability to travel up to 25%.
