Job Description
The Technology Consultant is a technical resource for Rockwell Automation technology and products within their area(s) of expertise, Experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects capability and benefits of portfolio to customers. Deliver proof of concept, after sales support, and is a trusted advisor to the sales organization and channel. They are responsible for technical support in pre-sales activities for a specific range of products within a defined geography. The technology consultant will be the technical product expert within the sales organization for customer pursuits.
The Technology Consultant will expand Distributor Specialist capability in areas lacking coverage., the Technology Consultant will help with commercial marketing activities, interface with Product Departments, support product and quality issues, provide post sales troubleshooting when needed, and act as a local interface with Tech Support.
You will report to hiring manager, based in Thailand.
Your Responsibilities:
Be the technical product expert and focal point in Philippines for Power Control Portfolio such as Low Voltage/Medium Voltage Drives, Motor Control Center (MCC) and Motor Starters product rangeYou will Facilitate and provide product-based training to the Salesforce and channel.Co-operate with the Salesforce in promoting the product range to all customers with presentations, demonstrations, proof of concepts, performance tests or similar activities.Define and explain product differentiators and values versus competition.You will Analyze competitive products, have knowledge of competitor's strategy, further define competitive differentiators.Participate in trade shows, seminars and similar marketing activities, offering demonstrations and product expertise with customers where neededYou will Support market access (Distributor & Systems Integrators) to ensure their capability in explaining the value and demonstration of RA products or technologiesYou will Assist Business Lead in launch of new products to the sales team and channel.Validate and resolve compatibility issues of products within architectural solutions and provide guidance to customers/sales team.You will Seek out and participate in both training opportunities to develop technical skills.Update customers on new products and technology related to customer's industry and application needs as a resource to the named account team.You will Work with Tech Support on post sales product issues.Invest time in self-enablement and be passionate about learning Rockwell's offerings and solutionsThe Essentials - You Will Have:
Bachelor's degree in electrical, Electronic or Mechatronic engineering/technical field or equivalent.1 years' experience in technical role of automation and electrical.Candidate that are fresh graduates may apply.Fluency with native language and command of English (written and spoken).Supporter of our customer centricity.
