ITC / HBOC Apprentice
+ Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of server and cloud infrastructure. + Develop expertise in remote connectivity solutions. + Support the deployment and management of firewalls and network security protocols. + Monitor and troubleshoot network and system performance issues. + Participate in IT support tasks including hardware and software troubleshooting. + Document technical procedures and maintain accurate records. + Collaborate with senior technicians on IT projects and security audits. + Learn and apply ITIL practices for service management. + Adhere to ISO 27000 standards for information security management. + Develop expertise in Honeywell Digital Solutions + Use and maintain Honeywell Building Management Systems (HVAC/BMS, Fire & Security) Development Path: Year 1: + Hands-on experience of Honeywell Digital Solutions including remote building management systems for BMS, Fire & Security + Introduction to IT fundamentals and networking concepts. + Begin Cisco CCNA certification training. + Exposure to Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud environments. + Hands-on experience with virtualisation using VMware/Hyper V Year 2: + Complete Cisco CCNA certification. + Begin training for Microsoft Azure Administrator and AWS Certified Solutions Architect. + Gain practical experience in cloud deployment and management. + Introduction to ITIL Foundation and ISO 27000 standards. Year 3: + Complete Microsoft Azure and AWS certifications. + Begin Google Cloud Professional certification. + Advanced training in VMware and virtual server management. + Complete ITIL Foundation and ISO 27000 certification. Required Qualifications: + A genuine interest in IT (coding, gaming, hardware builds) + Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset + GCSEs including Mathematics at grade 7 or above. + Good knowledge of Microsoft Products (Office) + Good communication and teamwork abilities Desired Qualifications: + A genuine interest in IT and cybersecurity + GCSE, A-Level, or a diploma in Computer Science or a related field. + Good knowledge of practical applications of AI tools This apprenticeship offers a structured 4 year learning path and the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in a supportive and truly global environment.
