The Role

Italy Bid Specialist 

 

The primary responsibility of this position is the development and coordination of bids and presentations for WTW, Italy. In this role, the applicant will ensure that high quality bids, presentations, placemats and ad hoc business development requirements are prepared efficiently and on time. The applicant will participate in the management of transversal projects working across all our business segments including Corporate Risk and Broking and Human Capital and Benefits. 

 

Based in Milan.

 

Role Criteria

Produce “high impact” bid documents and presentation materials that are tailored to the client and assist in distinguishing the business area and company from its competitors Co-ordinate (project manage) bids (both new business and retenders) ensuring all deadlines are met in-line with client requirements Implement the process to validate opportunities and ensure that all resource and compliance requirements are met Writing, copy editing, proofing and advising on best practice proposal responses Able to hold ‘kick off’ meetings and project manage meetings from start to finish Review and, if need be, reshape technical content produced by subject matter experts Provide input to post-bid debriefs and support analysis of wins/losses Work in line with the research teams to provide client intel pre-bid phase Undertake training as and when required to upskill for the role

The Requirements

 

Writing, editing and storytelling skills. Produce relevant content and turn technical information into a client-friendly, readily understood bid documentExcellent organisational and project management skillsProven ability to work well under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlinesProactive and able to work on own initiative with minimal supervisionAbility to think and work creatively and think outside the boxGood command of Microsoft Word, Power Point and ExcelAbility to work with Adobe packages (InDesign, Wordpress for creating microsites) is a big advantageMaster’s degree in communication or design (with a specialization in project management) or law or equivalent degree 2-3 years in services / similar companiesFluent spoken and written English Level C1
