**Description:** The Chef de Cuisine of Olivio Italian Restaurant is responsible for overseeing the restaurant’s overall culinary operations, including menu development, team leadership, kitchen organization, and the consistent delivery of high-quality Italian cuisine. This role ensures that all dishes reflect Olivio’s culinary identity as an Italian Restaurant while maintaining exceptional standards of ingredient quality, presentation, consistency, and guest satisfaction. Through effective planning, organization, direction, and control of daily kitchen operations, the Chef de Cuisine leads the culinary team in delivering an authentic and memorable Italian dining experience. **Qualifications:** **Essential Criteria** • Minimum 3–5 years of experience as Chef de Cuisine or in an equivalent culinary leadership role within a luxury hotel, premium dining, or high-quality Italian restaurant environment. • Proven experience leading Italian restaurant kitchen operations, with strong knowledge of authentic Italian cuisine, ingredients, techniques, and menu development. • Strong leadership, team development, and communication skills, with the ability to guide and motivate a diverse culinary team. • Demonstrated ability to develop menus focused on quality, consistency, seasonality, presentation, and guest satisfaction. • Excellent understanding of hygiene, food safety, and HACCP standards. • Ability to manage food cost, inventory, purchasing, and overall kitchen financial performance. • Strong commitment to maintaining ingredient quality, culinary consistency, and the dining identity of Olivio Italian Restaurant. **Desirable Criteria** • Experience in luxury hotel restaurant operations, preferably within a mountain resort or destination dining environment. • Experience working with international and multicultural teams. • Knowledge of Italian culinary trends, regional Italian cuisine, premium product sourcing, and seasonal menu planning. • Experience in Japan or familiarity with Japanese guest expectations and local ingredient sourcing. **Primary Location:** JP-Hokkaido-Niseko **Organization:** Park Hyatt Niseko **Job Level:** Full-time **Job:** Culinary **Req ID:** NIS000674 Hyatt is an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action employer.
