IT Vulnerability Governance Lead
Our client is seeking an IT Vulnerability Governance Lead to work a long term W2 contract in the Minneapolis (hybrid onsite 3 days a week). This is a high-level opportunity, you will be responsible for driving the IT vulnerability governance function, reducing the risk of potential threats and vulnerabilities. **Job Title:** Governance Lead **Location:** Minneapolis **Pay Range:** $55-65/hour **What’s the Job?** + Develop and implement a comprehensive IT vulnerability governance framework to identify, assess, and mitigate potential vulnerabilities across the organization's systems and infrastructure. + Execute day-to-day governance tasks, including problem-solving, issue escalation, monitoring accuracy of reporting, interpreting reporting, and delivering insights to drive action. Develop and maintain process documentation and presentations.= + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain effective vulnerability management processes and procedures. + Conduct regular assessments to identify and prioritize potential security risks. + Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide actionable insights and recommendations for vulnerability remediation. + · Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners to ensure alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.Provide leadership and guidance on vulnerability governance best practices and industry trends to enhance the organization's security posture. **What’s Needed?** + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, related field, or equivalent experience.
