Downer is seeking an experienced IT Vendor Manager to join the Downer Digital team, reporting to the Group GM Governance, Risk & Compliance, Vendor Management. This role is pivotal in leading the Vendor Management Office and implementing a strategic approach to IT vendor management. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders including Group Procurement, Group Finance, Group Legal, and IT teams to drive vendor performance, mitigate risk, ensure contractual compliance, and deliver value across the vendor lifecycle.

You will play a critical role in managing key IT vendor relationships, overseeing governance and reporting processes, and embedding vendor risk management aligned to ISO27001 standards. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator and negotiator, with deep experience in managing complex vendor arrangements, contract negotiations, performance evaluations, and operational governance.
