IT Tool Specialist, Workplace Trust: Privacy, AI, and Risk

As a member of the Workplace Trust team, you will play a key role in operationalizing privacy across Amazon's global employee, candidate, and contingent worker populations. This includes engaging with multiple stakeholders across the enterprise to help ensure compliant outcomes. You will be responsible for consulting with key stakeholders to create (and translate) holistic document packages for Employee Representative Bodies to review.

In the execution of Amazon’s global privacy obligations, you will rely heavily on your stakeholder and process management skills. You are a communication expert, with the ability to adjust your message to your target audience. You are tech savvy and can translate IT tool and tech requirements into east to understand, yet high quality documents. You are familiar with the concept of Employee Representative Bodies and may have successfully created documents for them in your previous roles.

The successful candidate can support diverse stakeholders and communicate well across different levels of technical understanding; understanding potential concerns in advance and proactively addressing them in their documents while providing a high quality product under tight timelines. The successful candidate has the ability to synthesize diverse data sets and draw conclusions to continuously improve the document creation process for scale.

The ‘day-to-day’ aspect of this role will be to align key stakeholders for in-time-information delivery to create holistic document packages on set timelines for a seamless stakeholder experience. As part of this you will take feedback and driving long-term strategic changes. You will also answer questions to senior level stakeholders about presented and upcoming tools.


Key job responsibilities
* Consult with Product Teams, Privacy Specialists, Legal, and Human Resources on applications requiring Employee Representative Body action
* Perfect the necessary documentation for the colleagues that present applications directly to Employee Representative Bodies, and answering questions; setting them up for success
* Understand incoming questions and concerns, developing plans to address concerns at a root cause level
* Provide status updates to senior level stakeholders on the progress of application document creation
* Monitor known and emerging risks; develop and own action items to remediate identified risk issues
* Socialize and secure commitment for remediation and risk management strategies
* Draft written narratives to communicate identified gaps, risk analyses, and recommendations
* Communicate back to the launch teams updates to approvals, rejections, or questions
