About the Role: 

\n

Conduent is seeking as IT Testing Engineer to Conduent tests on our software systems to ensure functional and optimal performance. 

\n

 

\n

Responsibilities: 

\n\n Analyze user needs and test software solutions using agile methodology \n Create test models for release testing (plans, data and scripts) including the identification, collection and/or creation of test data \n Lead co-ordination and execution of release testing as appropriate   \n Determine and meet time estimates and schedules for testing efforts   \n Define Release Test Plans and criteria for user acceptance including entry/exit criteria   \n Develop, update and maintain quality testing standards and procedures   \n Communicate effectively with customers and software vendors as appropriate   \n Assist in the planning, creation and control of the test environment(s)   \n Follow standard testing methodology frameworks, testing processes as a standard   \n Co-ordinate testing specific release activities   \n Determine and meet time estimates and schedules for testing efforts   \n Create test models for release testing (plans, data and scripts) pate in structured walk-through and peer reviews   \n Participate in the coordination and execution of release testing   \n Update and test release installation procedures   \n Participate in Lessons Learned as appropriate   \n Identify defects and questionable functionality; manage defects through to closure   \n Resolve issues with unclear requirements and achieve a successful result   \n Triage and solve complex problems using structured troubleshooting methodologies   \n Quick learner, work independently as well as work collaboratively in a team environment   \n\n

Basic Qualifications for Consideration: 

\n

 

\n\n Minimum of 5+ years of experience as Senior QA   \n Experience in creation of test plan, test estimates, test schedules and implementing test strategies  \n Solid experience in writing SQL statements for data validations   \n Solid experience in Database and Batch Job testing  \n Ability to design, develop, test and debug tests cases/Scripts/plans/strategy documents    \n Minimum four (4) years’ experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of software development life cycle(s) (SDLC).   \n Preparation of Defect Status Reports and Daily/Weekly Status Reports.  \n Knowledge of Health Insurance Industry is a must – Pharmacy, Claims processing, PBM, ICD 9/10, Medicare, or Medicaid.   \n Knowledge of Azure and Confluence.  \n Document and interpret business and technical requirements for testing utilizing various development methodologies (e.g. Agile, Scrum, Iterative, Waterfall, etc.)   \n Extensive experience in Test Management tools building Test Plans and Test Cases using tools like JIRA, Xray and Azure DevOps (VSTS)  \n Hands on experience in Excel and Status Reports.  \n Effective communication skills to articulate testing result data to multiple audiences.   \n Working knowledge on AI tools for automation.  \n Working knowledge of industry standard automated testing tools, practices, and software and/or Performance testing tools.   \n\n

Pay Transparency Laws in some locations require disclosure of compensation and/or benefits-related information.  For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $69,300 - $90,000
