Responsibilities you would expect the Subcon to shoulder and execute*:

Influence, global technology team and business partners within Nike, to create plans and secure funding to build disaster recovery solutions for applications and domains planned in the technical recovery portfolio. Clearly identify and communicate disaster recovery requirements to all stakeholders. Actively work with technical teams to design, architect, and build disaster recovery solutions based on recovery patterns. Collaborate with technical teams and engineers to document disaster recovery plans, procedures, and steps. Review the plans for completeness and level of technical details needed for execution of each step and procedure. Ask probing questions and encourage documentation of detailed command-level execution steps to ensure the adequacy of plan for recovery. Participate, conduct, and lead disaster recovery related workshops, meetings and planning sessions. Work through ambiguity to simplify. Ensure all team members clearly understand their deliverables. During an exercise work closely with the technical teams following the plan to ensure the plan adequacy. Document changes needed to plans, procedures, or steps. Ensure that the disaster recovery plans are updated post exercise. Participate in and coordinate all activities to ensure recovery is achieving minimum acceptable recovery risks. Identify proactive, preventive, and protective measures to minimize the likelihood of disruption to others during the disaster recovery planning and execution efforts. Perform other duties as directed by management.
