Job Description

We are seeking a motivated IT technician intern to support the IT department at our Semiconductor plant in Roseville, CA.   The intern will work collaboratively with both the Director of IT and team members to assist in automation hardware, cabling and retrofitting for smart carts. 

Key Responsibilities:

Participate in patching and cabling activitiesOrder components for automation tasksDesign hardware components using CAD designAssist in retrofitting carts using RFID components to convert to smart cartsBuild smart shelves with RFID components

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Currently pursuing an AS degree in mechatronics or electronicsMinimum GPA of 3.0Strong mechanical and electrical aptitudeSelf-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications:

Interest in semiconductor manufacturing

Additional InformationThis role will work on site in Roseville, CA.This position can be flexible with works hours and days per week.Can work up to 19 hours per week.Assignment may last until February 2026 or longer. Indefinite US work authorized individuals only.  Future sponsorship for work authorization unavailable.

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $20.00- $22.00/hr.  Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc. Your Recruiter can share more details about the specific salary range for this position during the interview process.
