Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Entry-Level Desktop Support Technician to join our IT team. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong interest in technology, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: + Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices, ensuring smooth user data migration during hardware refresh projects. + Provide responsive and professional customer service by addressing support tickets, coordinating with internal teams, and following direction from project managers. + Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and basic networking, escalating when necessary. + Maintain accurate documentation of support activities and contribute to internal knowledge resources. + Collaborate with team members to ensure timely resolution of issues and adherence to company standards. Qualifications: + CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent hardware experience preferred. + Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and know when to seek assistance. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective user interaction. + Basic understanding of Windows operating systems and common business applications. + Eagerness to learn and grow within an IT support environment. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
