As a Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support, maintaining, and troubleshooting various IT systems and equipment within the organization. Whether focused on store technology, telecommunications, or service desk support, your role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of technology systems and providing prompt assistance to end-users. This position requires strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities Understands the role of support in customer satisfaction starts to connect daily work with business impact.                                                                                                                      Analyze system performance and identify areas for improvement. Provide timely and effective technical support to resolve issues related to hardware, software, network, and telecom systems. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical problems reported by end-users, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. Document issues and resolutions in the ticketing system, ensuring accurate and detailed records of all service requests. Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment, including computers, printers, POS systems, telecom devices, and networking equipment. Perform regular maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance of IT systems, including updates, patches, and repairs.  Provide hands-on support to users, including remote and on-site assistance, to resolve technical issues. Create and maintain user documentation and knowledge base articles to support common tasks and troubleshooting. Monitor system performance, network connectivity, and telecom systems to ensure consistent and reliable service. Respond to alerts and proactively address potential issues before they impact users. Assist in managing user accounts, permissions, and access to IT systems in accordance with company policies. Collaborate with other IT teams, such as network administrators, system engineers, and telecom specialists, to resolve complex issues and implement new solutions. Communicate technical issues and solutions effectively to non-technical users, ensuring they understand the impact and resolution of the problem. Participate in IT projects and initiatives, contributing technical expertise to improve systems and processes. Ensure all IT systems and equipment comply with company policies, industry standards, and security protocols. Follow security best practices to protect sensitive data and prevent unauthorized access to IT systems. Assist in conducting security audits and implementing corrective actions as needed. Qualifications Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field or 2 years of related experience in lieu of degree. Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues on various devices (e.g., computers, tablets, phones). Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly and effectively. Analyze system performance and identify areas for improvement. Document issues and maintain accurate records. Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with users at all levels. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and priorities. Ability to adapt to changing technology landscapes and business needs. Willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and methodologies as required.  Benefits

The hourly rate is $25.00 -$28.00. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
