Job Title: Customer Support IT Technician Location: Indianapolis, IN Hours/Schedule: M-F 8-5 Type: Contract Job Overview The Customer Support IT Technician serves as the primary point of contact for computer hardware, operating systems, and enterprise applications at Lilly. This onsite role provides technical support across three Indianapolis sites, ensuring employees have a seamless digital experience whether in the office or traveling. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, onboarding support, device security compliance, and assisting with IT initiatives to improve workforce productivity. Responsibilities + Provide hands-on support for computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, Mac, iOS), and enterprise applications (O365, Azure, SharePoint, Teams, etc.). + Troubleshoot and resolve end-user technical issues with endpoints, peripherals, and software. + Support new hire onboarding, hardware setup, and accessory assistance. + Proactively monitor and remediate potential hardware or security issues, including patches, driver updates, and supported application levels. + Partner with IT infrastructure teams to resolve escalated technical issues. + Ensure devices meet security and compliance standards. + Rotate across Lilly’s three Indianapolis sites to provide onsite support. Qualifications + High School Diploma/GED required. + Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. + CompTIA A+ and Apple Certified Support Professional certifications. + Microsoft 365 Fundamentals certification. + Prior help desk and customer service experience. + Working knowledge of hardware/software setup, configuration, and troubleshooting. + Understanding of internet security and data privacy principles. + Experience with multiple operating systems (Windows, Mac, iOS). + Additional IT certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified IT Professional) preferred.
