Are you ready to be the driving force behind Amazon Health Services' (AHS) infrastructure expansion? As the primary program manager for One Medical new office launches and network engineering, you'll orchestrate complex, cross-functional deployments that directly enable AHS's mission to deliver exceptional healthcare services across the US.
Our AHS IT team is a branch of the Enterprise Engineering organization and also serves as a direct partner to Amazon Health Services (AHS)—the umbrella organization for Amazon One Medical and Amazon Pharmacy. We enable AHS to scale operations and deliver exceptional patient care by providing IT solutions adapted for the unique healthcare environment. Through proactive program management, cross-functional collaboration, and a deep understanding of healthcare requirements, we transform IT challenges into solutions that empower our healthcare teams to focus on what matters most—serving our patients.
You'll own end-to-end execution of new office launches across all US regions and serve as the primary program manager for our network engineering team.
Key job responsibilities
Serve as the primary program manager for new Amazon Health Services office launches across US regions and for the network engineering team
- Own end-to-end planning and execution of site launches and network infrastructure projects across ~250 clinical locations
- Define program requirements, timelines, and success metrics; coordinate infrastructure deployment logistics including circuit installations, network equipment provisioning, and facility readiness
- Track critical dependencies across IT, facilities, operations, and vendor teams; maintain weekly risk/dependency logs with mitigation plans
- Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring stakeholder awareness and sign-off; ensure redundancy requirements are met (e.g., dual internet circuits)
- Drive timely decisions, clear blockers, and make informed trade-offs between time, scope, and cost
- Deep dive into infrastructure requirements, spot integration risks early, and translate technical complexity into clear communication
- Establish and maintain launch playbooks, standard operating procedures, and best practices
- Build relationships with stakeholders and escalate appropriately when needed
- Track program metrics to drive continuous improvement
A day in the life
Who you'll work with:
- AHS IT teams: Network engineering, client engineering, unified communications
- One Medical HR, Operations, Construction and Design: Staffing and operational requirements, site design and readiness
- GREF: Facilities management
- Global Service Desk (GSD): Support/helpdesk
- Vendors: Internet Service Providers, Project management/on-site install vendors.
Problems you'll solve: Timeline race with getting internet and other technical components in before the business goal launch date, figuring out new service lines, dependency blindspots, risk management, negotiation of priorities across teams.
Your typical day: Review construction and vendor updates on circuit installations, facilitate network engineering standups, coordinate with facilities and construction teams on launch timelines, deep dive into site-specific technical requirements, update risk logs, and escalate critical dependencies.
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of technical program management experience
- 4+ years of network engineering and deployments for large-scale networks in a corporate environment with hands on experience with physical infrastructure installations including hardware integration, racking, and cabling experience
- Experience leading cross-functional projects and managing large, complicated programs
- Experience identifying, mitigating, and managing business risks and tradeoffs
- Experience influencing internal and external stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with IT compliance and risk management requirements (e.g. security, privacy, SOX, HIPAA etc.)
- Experience managing and negotiating contracts and vendor relationships
- Experience creating process documentation
- Experience working with data and leveraging analytics to make decisions
- Experience using English communication skills, both written and verbal, to foster seamless interaction with stakeholders at all levels
- Experience working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing operations environment

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
