Our national network of 60 offices, two national recruiting centers, and 2,000+ associates support our ability to meet the needs of customers of all sizes, including 70% of the Fortune 100.Join the Kforce family and we will support you with expert training, innovative tools, an amazing culture, and a team of Great People that will cheer you on your road to success!SUMMARY:Under general direction, is responsible for maintaining Firm’s computer and storage systems and ensure they are supporting the organization as required.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide the highest level of technical expertise and consulting services supporting the technical infrastructure including customer devices, Windows servers, UNIX servers, and the EMC Storage environment.Provide the highest level of business understanding of how the technical infrastructure supports and affects the business.Provide resolution for highly complex technical problems and issues that affect the customer.Identify potential risk, determines root cause and recommends solution.Monitor systems to ensure operation is within Firm’s control parameters.Oversee the implementation of approved change controls into production.Provide Enterprise systems troubleshooting, root cause analysis and problem resolution support to the Problem Management group when needed.Provide preventive maintenance.Make recommendations regarding the rollout and implementation of new hardware, software, and communications capabilities. Provide day-to-day operational support for hardware, software, and communications infrastructure components including monitoring, repairing, and upgrading network/information system components such as servers, hubs, routers, printers, and workstations. Maintain and support user local area networks (LANs) as well as remote sites. Investigate and troubleshoot system-wide and individual workstation operational problems. Establish and develop effective, secure data communications, file sharing, and email capabilities. Provide hands-on support and execute tasks following established procedures and pertaining to the designated technical architecture of the organization that is supported. Assist in development of standards, procedures, and guidelines for providing services related to hardware, software, and communication capabilities, as well as network administration.Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of state-of-the-art computer hardware and software applications, along with expert working knowledge of network systems.
