**About the role**
We are seeking a talented IT Support Technician who will:
+ **Deliver Exceptional Support:** Provide advanced technical support to Allegion New Zealand users, both locally and remotely, ensuring incidents and requests are resolved efficiently and in line with Service Level Agreements.
+ **Maintain and Optimise IT Systems:** Manage the full lifecycle of hardware and software assets, perform regular maintenance, and ensure all systems meet security and compliance requirements.
+ **Drive Operational Excellence:** Perform root cause analysis to eliminate recurring incidents, contribute to disaster recovery and backup management, and support infrastructure including telephony, network devices, servers, and printers.
+ **Contribute to Projects:** Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver IT-based solutions and improvements, and support business transformation initiatives.
+ **Champion Documentation and Training:** Accurately document standards, processes, and changes, and provide training to users on IT systems and applications.
**What you’ll bring**
+ **Qualifications:** A relevant tertiary degree in information technology or similar discipline.
+ **Technical Proficiency:** Advanced troubleshooting skills and technical knowledge across a broad spectrum of IT applications, including PC hardware, printers, AV technologies, telecommunications, and networking concepts.
+ **Experience:** Hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting (e.g. Dell), supporting printers and multifunction devices (e.g. Ricoh, Datamax, Argox), and AV support (e.g. Crestron, Epson, Microsoft Teams). Industry-recognised certifications are an advantage.
+ **Personal Attributes:** Strong customer focus, excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
+ **Work Ethic:** Self-motivated, proactive, works well independently as well as in a team, and demonstrates honesty and integrity.

This role is based on-site in Avondale, Auckland. Some after-hours work may be required.
