Description
We are urgently seeking a Desktop Support Specialist to join our team on a 6-month contract. This role is critical to supporting a large-scale Mac deployment and providing ongoing technical support for employees. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Mac hardware, user administration, and excellent troubleshooting skills.
Key Responsibilities
Initial Deployment: Provision and deploy approximately 50–60 Mac laptops as part of a hardware upgrade initiative.
Break/Fix Support: Diagnose and resolve Mac hardware issues and provide day-to-day desktop support for employees.
User Administration: Perform light administrative tasks in:
+ Okta: Password resets, MFA resets.
+ Google Workspace: Adding aliases, managing groups.
+ Onboarding & Offboarding: Support new hire setups and employee exits.
+ Office Move Support: Assist with logistics and technical setup during the LA office move.
+ Overtime: Mandatory 5 hours per week to ensure timely completion of laptop deployments.
Qualifications
Experience: 2–4 years in desktop support or similar role.
Technical Skills:
Strong Mac hardware troubleshooting and repair.
Familiarity with Okta and Google Workspace administration.
Experience with JAMF is a plus.
Soft Skills:
Strong communication, ability to work under tight deadlines, and excellent customer service.
Schedule:
Flexible, but must accommodate mandatory overtime during the initial deployment phase.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $35.00/hr.
