We are looking for an IT Support Specialist to provide hands-on technical support in a television broadcast environment. This role focuses on desktop and application support, computer repairs and upgrades, network compliance, and security compliance. You will also occasionally assist with specialized broadcast systems in coordination with station engineering staff.
This position is on-site only; remote or hybrid work is not available.
What You’ll Do:

Provide day-to-day help desk and desktop support for staff.
•
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
•
Install, configure, and upgrade PCs, laptops, and applications.
•
Perform computer repairs, upgrades, and imaging.
•
Support account management (Active Directory, Office 365, email, passwords).
•
Ensure compliance with network and security standards.
•
Assist with broadcast-related IT systems (e.g., newsroom computer systems, video servers).
What We’re Looking For:
•
1–3 years of IT support or help desk experience.
•
Associate’s degree in IT or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
•
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft are a plus.
•
Strong knowledge of Windows, Office 365, and standard business applications.
•
Familiarity with Active Directory and basic networking.
•
Excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills.
•
Must be able to work on-site at the station.
