HOW AN IT SUPPORT SPECIALIST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Deliver consistent and excellent customer service with helpful, patient, and can-do attitudeModify, move, and install end user equipment (desktops, laptops, printers, etc.)Troubleshoot hardware and software problems and interconnectivity issues both on-site and remotely on Microsoft Windows based workstationsDevelop proficiency with multiple imaging platforms (WDS/MDT, Intune/Autopilot, etc.)Provide advice and onsite training for customer support personnelParticipate and support platform projects such as upgrades or migrations for large user populationsCreate and maintain standard operating procedure documentationWHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
High School Diploma and/or GED and 0+ years of experience or equivalent years of experienceFoundational knowledge of Windows operating systems and core technology associated with themKnowledge of basic LAN/WAN concepts including subnets, ports, protocols, DNS and DHCPExcellent communication skillsAbility to relate with users and explain technical issues in a simple mannerStrong time management skills, ability to prioritize and organize a workload and adapt as neededAble to learn new applications and become familiar with new technologies quicklyUS CITIZENSHIP REQUIREDNice to Have
