As an IT Support Manager you'll be leading a team of six split across support, providing 1st and 2nd line issue resolution services to circa 650 users which will increase when our new Bicester facility opens in 2026, and infrastructure.  You'll be responsible for day to day management of the team as well as taking the lead on process improvements and delivering a range of IT projects.You'll implement and maintain ITIL processes such as incident, problem, and change management and be responsible for business partner management across all functions of the business, essentially being the conduit between these functions and IT, translating needs/requirements into solutions and being the voice of IT to manage stakeholder expectations.  There are still plenty of interesting infrastructure related projects to be involved in relating to the new site, and all Eynsham site IT projects will fall under your management, therefore proven experience of structure project management in previous roles will be essential.   Due to the nature of this role we are looking for someone who is happy to be based on site 4 days out of 5 as a minimum (preference is full time on site).


Job Responsibilities:


Manage and lead the IT support team, ensuring effective incident resolution and service deliveryPlan, execute, and oversee IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and process improvementsImplement and maintain ITIL processes such as incident, problem, and change managementLead root cause analysis and implement preventive measures to reduce recurring issuesEnsure IT assets and resources are effectively managedAct as the primary point of contact between IT support and business stakeholders

About You:


Proven experience as an IT Support Manager or in a similar leadership role, managing a team supporting upwards of 300+ users.Strong project management experience, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously - able to demonstrate prior experience in managing end to end delivery of IT related projects using a structured methodologyExpertise in ITIL frameworks, with an ITIL certification (preferred).Hands-on experience with IT support systems, ticketing tools, and remote support technologies.Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.Experience with IT infrastructure, cloud services, and enterprise applications is a plus.Degree in a relevant IT related subject.Project Management certification (PMP, PM@Siemens, PRINCE, etc.)
