As a recruitment partner, we are supporting a global engineering and technology services organisation on a long-term onsite IT support role based in Japan. This position offers stability, hands-on technical exposure, and the opportunity to work within a large-scale, structured operating environment.
Job Purpose
The successful candidate will provide first-line IT support to internal users at a customer site, working as part of an Information Security & IT Infrastructure team. This is a hands-on, user-facing role requiring solid technical fundamentals and strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Provide LAN-related support, including basic troubleshooting, cabling, and connectivity Support server and IT facilities operations Manage software distribution, installation, and user support Support Windows OS updates and routine maintenance Handle fixed IP address issuance procedures Provide initial response to power outages and network incidents Diagnose basic PC hardware issues and replace internal components where requiredWhat’s on Offer

Essential (Must Have):
