IT Support Engineer

Responsibilities

End-User IT Support (On-site IT Support)

Provide daily on-site IT technical support to internal employees, including computers, mobile devices, printers, and video conferencing equipment.Troubleshoot and resolve user incidents and service requests to ensure smooth daily operations in a timely manner.Follow up on IT tickets from the Global IT Service Desk, ensuring issues are resolved and requests are completed in accordance with SLAs.Perform installation, upgrades, patching, software deployment, and compliance checks for Windows and Mac OS systems.Assist with application installation and configuration, user account and access permission management, and provide end-user guidance as needed.

IT Asset Management

Manage and maintain company IT assets, including computers, printers, IP phones, conference room equipment, and server room equipment.Oversee the full lifecycle management of IT equipment, including procurement, warehousing, deployment, recycling, and disposal.Ensure accurate and up-to-date asset records in ITAM / ServiceNow systems, and conduct regular inventory audits and compliance checks.

Office IT Infrastructure Support

Provide on-site support for the IT server room, including rack/cabinet management, cabling, and network equipment (e.g., switches, firewalls).Support and troubleshoot AV/VC equipment in meeting rooms.Collaborate with global IT teams on the implementation of network, server, and other IT infrastructure-related projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or above, computer science related major is preferred.3–5 years of IT support experience in a MNC; experience with ServiceNow is preferred.Solid hands-on experience with Windows OS, Mac OS, and laptop hardware break/fix troubleshooting.Basic knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, VPN, and Wi-Fi.Proficiency in English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing).Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.ITIL or Microsoft (MCSA) certifications are a plus.
