Job Title: IT Supervisor

Location: Omaha

Reporting to: Plant Engineer

 

Essential Job Functions:

Vendor Access RequestsAll computer/network components, including servers, network equipment, wireless access points, cabling, printers, and work stationsSecurity camera systemsDoor readers and controller systemsPhone systemsAll “Production Floor / Plant Floor Systems.”Work with end users proposing new hardware and software solutionsTest all hardware and software modifications before they are introduced into productionProvide hardware and software diagnostics for network, hardware, and software issuesSeek out opportunities to automate plant processesImplement automated solutions plant-wideCommunicate Plant Systems Outages and NoticesAnalyze software issues, installation, and testing of application software/patches Provide on-call support for complex software problems and issues Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned Experience Required:3 years of related experience, preferred but not requiredProficient in reading and writing ladder logic plc programProficient in graphics packages / HMI interfaceFundamental understanding of VLANSFundamental understanding of Citrix desktopServer, Windows 10, Office 2016Cisco Network Switch cabling, connectivity, configurations, and troubleshootingPhone systems experience preferred, but not requiredMCSE Certification is preferred, but not requiredA+ Certification preferred, but not requiredSkills/Abilities Required:Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbalMust have strong customer support abilitiesMust be willing to work in a plant / industrial environmentMust be willing to travel as required to support additional plantJBS is an equal opportunity employer.EOE, including disability/ vets
