General Summary:

We are seeking an Oracle EPM Infrastructure Administrator to manage, design, and enhance the infrastructure supporting our Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) suite. This role involves both hands-on administration and strategic architecture duties to ensure the high availability, scalability, and performance of EPM systems. Managing and optimizing the Oracle EPM Cloud component to ensure seamless integration with on-premises infrastructure, thereby enhancing overall system efficiency and responsiveness. Additionally, this position includes administering and maintaining Control-M software, applying updates, and managing the environment, including database maintenance. Administrators also design, create, and manage job workflows and schedules, coordinating with application teams and monitoring job execution to resolve failures. Troubleshooting involves identifying and resolving infrastructure and job-related issues, as well as providing user support. Performance optimization includes improving workflow efficiency and analyzing schedules. Administrators may also develop scripts for automation and reporting. Security management involves enforcing access controls and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. Finally, documenting configurations and generating reports on job performance are also part of the role.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 4+ years of IT-related work experience with a Bachelor's degree.
OR
7+ years of IT-related work experience without a Bachelor’s degree.

Physical Requirements:
• Frequently transports and installs equipment up to 20 lbs.

**Position requires to be onsite full time in San Diego

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s preferred).7+ years of experience in Oracle EPM infrastructure administration and architecture.Deep knowledge of Oracle EPM Cloud and on-premise components (Planning, Essbase, HFM, etc.).Proficiency in WebLogic, Oracle Database, Windows,Linux/Unix systems, and scripting (Shell, Python, etc.).Hands-on experience with Control-M administration, job scheduling, and workflow optimization.Familiarity with cloud platforms (OCI, AWS, Azure) and integration with hybrid environments.Strong troubleshooting skills for infrastructure and application-level issues.Experience with automation, application performance tuning.Solid understanding of security, compliance, and access control best practices.Excellent communication, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain the infrastructure architecture for Oracle EPM applications (ARM,HFM,DRM).Lead installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades of on-premise and/or cloud-based Oracle EPM environments.Ensure availability and disaster recovery strategies are in place for all EPM components.Monitor system performance and address issues to maintain optimal uptime. Coordinate with application teams, DBAs, and network administrators to ensure integrated system operations.Manage EPM platform security, including user access, roles, and data security.Support automation of deployment and maintenance tasks through scripting and DevOps practices.Lead migration of EPM systems from on-premise to OCI or other cloud platforms.Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues, collaborating with Oracle support as needed. Maintain documentation for architecture, configurations, and procedures.Analyze system capacity and performance trends to forecast infrastructure needs. Install, upgrade, and configure Control-M components (Control-M/Server, Agent, EM) across multiple platforms including Windows, Linux, and Mainframe. Design, schedule, and monitor automated job workflows, managing dependencies, resources, and calendars.Diagnose and resolve job failures, dependency issues, and runtime errors in collaboration with application, development, and infrastructure teams. Enhance workflow efficiency by analyzing job performance and recommending improvements to scheduling and resource utilization.Administer user access, enforce security policies, and ensure compliance with authentication and authorization standards. Communicates with project lead and internal teams via email and direct conversation to overcome obstacles and resolve any problems.Troubleshoots and debugs issues with networks, systems, and/or applications by completing complex root cause analyses, and escalates issues both internally and externally as needed.Monitors and analyzes overall availability and performance of computer operating systems and/or software applications to ensure customers can access necessary systems and/or applications, and looks for trends and makes recommendations for improvement.Participates in project review sessions to communicate project status and discuss complex issues.Serves as a technical lead on a feature or system, assigns work to a small project team, and works on more advanced tasks to complete a project.Identifies technical issues that affect a project or other areas of an overall system and synthesizes issues into an appropriate document for discussion with the appropriate audience (e.g., project lead, other team leads).Presents system solution or other technically complex information within and outside of project team.Works directly with Business Unit Management to ensure new systems and/or applications operate according to user requirement specifications.Mentors other team members to disseminate knowledge about subject matter expertise and latest IT solutions. Helps team members to determine which work tasks are most important, manages distractions, and deals with setbacks in a timely mannerEncourages team members to further develop their skills and knowledge by directing team members to appropriate resources.Leads technical discussions to ensure the right path is followed to project completion.Actively manages team project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables for a single project.Identifies resources, delegates work, and reviews the work of team members in order to address changing timelines or priorities.Networks with colleagues outside of the system function to gain insight, ideas, and connections.

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:

$116,800.00 - $175,200.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted.
