Turner Industries Group is looking for an IT Support Specialist for its Information Technology department. The candidate should have experience in tier one and two support and server and network administration to support the growth strategies of an energy company. This is a full-time, onsite position based in Port Allen, Louisiana.\n\nSchedule: 9\/80's with every other Friday off\n\n

Functional Requirements:\n\nProvide technical assistance and problem resolutions to employees\nMaintain secure and efficient operations of computer hardware and software by completing installs, configurations, maintenance, and repairs\nEnsure endpoint cybersecurity software is up to date and running properly\nTiers one support of corporate desktops including, but not limited to, Windows desktop support, printer support, basic networking, application installation, enterprise applications, configuration of new PCs and laptops, and performing routine maintenance\nPerform basic Windows Server Administration and Active Directory Administration, as well as test and deploy Windows updates\nConfigure software applications such as Office 365 for employees\nMaintain a high degree of technical expertise in relevant software, hardware, networking, system center configuration server, and cybersecurity to support IT requests\nPerform additional assignments per supervisor's direction\n\n

Essential Qualifications:\n\nCompletion of high school diploma or equivalent\nAt least three years of relevant experience in IT support\nCertifications such as CompTIA A+ and Microsoft certifications (MTA, MCSA, MCSE) are considered a plus\nExperience with Kace SMA and SDA preferred\nProven understanding of Microsoft server and desktop operating systems, including Office 365 suite\nExperience in ITIL and ITSM methodologies\nExceptional communication and relationship-building skills\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills\nBasic Microsoft Windows administration knowledge\nAbility to handle multiple requests and competing priorities\nPost offer drug \/ alcohol screen, physical evaluation, and signed acceptance of the Turner Industries Drug, Alcohol and Contraband Policy\nComply with company and client job site safety requirements\nMust not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the workplace\n\n
