Joining IT Operations and R&D 

 

Within IT, the IT Operations and R&D team is an experienced, nimble & expert team composed of multiple sub streams. The main purpose of the team is to lead the digital strategy and transformation of Operations and Products functions through effective business partnering and conceptualizing, delivering and supporting state of the art and secure IT technologies across the end-to-end value chain.  

 

When you join this team, you will work closely with the IT Operations and R&D leadership team and critical business stakeholders as a trusted technology partner to embed continuous innovation, work at speed and scale, develop your career in numerous directions in line with your aspirations and in a truly international and diverse context. 

 

WHAT’S THE PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

 

As an IT Solution Expert – Supply Chain, you will identify and deliver the best possible solutions to meet our business requirements. The expert will be overseeing supply chain IT processes and will be responsible for managing end-to-end vendor relationships, delivery and performance management, and ensuring seamless vendor transitions. The solution expert plays a pivotal role in driving cost efficiency, enhancing vendor performance, maintaining high standards of service delivery, and program management. You will work closely with various departments, including finance and operations, to ensure seamless integration and alignment with overall business objectives. Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting on the performance of the process to senior management. If you are a proactive and results-oriented professional, we would love to hear from you to maximizing standard functionalities and features of the existing or future systems that support the IT Supply chain processes.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

At least 6 years of professional experience in Supply chain IT applicationsUniversity degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalentBroad understanding of End-to-End Supply chain processesDeep understanding and experience of material requirement planning and procurement in SAPExpertise in managing large-scale vendor networksProven track record in cost savings, process improvement, and compliance management

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Technology Enablement:

Support Supply Chain team in identifying process gaps and implementing technical solutions aligned with TO-BE processes, in partnership with internal and external IT teamsAct as the Subject Matter Expert for MRP and related processes within SAP, and guide IT team members on impact assessments and technical designs through Blueprints

 

Vendor Portfolio Strategy:

Support in developing and managing the vendor portfolio strategy to align with business objectivesOnboard vendors that meet quality, cost, and service requirementsManage and foster long-term vendor relationships

 

Governance & Risk Management:

Develop and enforce governance frameworks to ensure policy adherence and regulatory complianceConduct vendor risk assessments and implement mitigation strategiesMaintain audit readiness by ensuring comprehensive documentation and process transparency

 

Program Management & Strategy:

Design and implement strategic programs to optimize vendor management practicesLead cross-functional initiatives to align vendor strategies with organizational goals and market demandsDevelop long-term roadmaps for vendor management programs, including technology adoption and scalabilityMonitor the overall health of vendor management programs, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and key objectives
