IT Service Technician
ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented **IT Service Technician** to join our team in the **National Capital Region (NCR).** This is a shift position to support 24/7 operations. As an IT Service Technician, this individual will provide vital technical support for government desktop systems and applications. Their expertise will ensure that federal personnel have the reliable IT resources needed to perform their essential duties. **Responsibilities include but are not limited to:** + Provide phone, collaboration remote tools, and in-person advanced technical support for desktop hardware, software, and peripheral devices to government end-users. + Troubleshoot and resolve complex IT incidents and service requests, both remotely and on-site. + Assist with software installations, configurations, and system upgrades. + Maintain accurate records of all support activities in the ticketing system. + Educate users on IT best practices and adherence to government IT policies. **Minimum Qualifications:** + High School Diploma + A+ Certification + 3+ years of related experience + Experience in a desktop support role within a government or corporate environment. + Familiarity with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, PC operating systems, network operating systems, and common business applications. + Knowledge of basic networking principles. + ITIL Foundation certification. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Strong customer service skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users. **Clearance Requirements:** + Must possess active Secret Clearance + Must be able to obtain a DHS Suitability **Physical Requirements:** + The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
