Detailed Job Description:

The Project Prog Mgmt job plans, organizes, and controls resources/processes to achieve project/program objectives within scope, time, quality, and budget constraints. This job is recognized as an expert in the field of Project Management and is responsible for managing the organizations largest and most complex projects.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Organizes large project teams by assigning individual responsibilities, developing project schedules, and determining resource requirements necessary to ensure project is successful. Estimates the costs, resources, and time required to complete each phase of large and/or complex projects and allocates resources and tasks to ensure these targets are met. Establishes project plan and monitors progress and performance against this plan. Monitors the status of projects including cost, timing, and staffing. Identifies and resolves obstacles to completing project on time and to budget. Conducts project meetings and prepares regular reports to communicate the status of the project within and beyond the project team. Coordinates the activities of outside contractors to ensure they are integrated into the project and that the organization receives satisfactory standards of service. Liaises with other operational areas in the organization to secure specialized resources and contributions for the project.

The person in this role will:

Lead program management and execution of complex, cross - enterprise strategic initiatives and have demonstrated success in this area Partners with business leadership to establish the implementation and governance structure Actively manages stakeholder, communications and reporting cadences across the program to ensure the work is progressing and leadership has the right level visibility to make decisions and remove barriers Focus on execution excellence to enable our sponsors to achieve expected outcomes Other key requirements Bachelors degree (strongly preferred) Financial Services experience (strongly preferred) Demonstrated experience as program manager or program leader, navigating large, complex initiatives (strongly preferred) Understanding of Lean-Agile concepts and principles Lean Portfolio Management experience (nice to have) Strong facilitation skills and ability to communicate and engage with all levels of leadership Experience overseeing the development and execution of change management strategies (strongly preferred)

Minimum years of experience: 12-14 years
