Job Description

As an IT Senior Group Buyer, you will drive global procurement projects across Eurofins’ decentralized structure. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders from Group Top Management to optimize sourcing strategies, negotiate commercial terms, and deliver cost-effective solutions for IT products and services. This role offers autonomy, strategic influence, and the opportunity to shape category strategy in a dynamic, multinational environment.

As a Senior Group Buyer, your daily responsibilities are:

Define and manage category scope in collaboration with the Procurement Team.Lead end-to-end sourcing processes and identify new supplier opportunities.Develop and present procurement strategies aligned with project goals.Negotiate commercial terms and maintain supplier agreements.Prepare RFPs, draft contracts, and deliver actionable business recommendations.Drive innovation and continuous improvement in procurement practices.Utilize procurement systems such as Coupa to manage workflows.Achieve KPIs and support strategic procurement projects.

 

Qualifications

 

Proven track record in global strategic procurement and negotiation.Experience in category management and strategy development within Procurement Teams.Skilled in supplier identification, contract drafting, and sourcing execution.Ability to develop procurement strategies that meet project goals on time and within budget.Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.Proficient in preparing RFPs, structuring specifications, and using tools like Coupa.Expertise in managing commercial agreements and delivering on KPIs.Analytical mindset focused on process optimization and risk mitigation.Experience working in multinational environments with independent entities.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Administration, Finance, or Engineering.
