We are seeking a highly skilled IT Senior Engineer to join our dynamic team in Pemba, Mozambique. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's IT infrastructure while leading technical projects and mentoring junior team members.

Architect and implement robust IT solutions to support business objectivesLead complex technical projects from conception to completionAnalyze and optimize existing IT systems for improved performance and efficiencyDevelop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practicesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and systemsProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior IT staffConduct regular security audits and implement measures to protect against cyber threatsManage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for IT services and productsStay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related fieldMinimum of 5-7 years of experience in IT engineering roles, with a proven track record of successAdvanced knowledge of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and storage systemsProficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detailExcellent project management abilities and experience leading technical teamsOutstanding communication skills, both written and verbalRelevant IT certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCNA, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are preferredIn-depth understanding of cybersecurity best practices and IT governance frameworksAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentWillingness to adapt to the local work culture in Pemba, Mozambique
