We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Solution Architect with a programming background to lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable and efficient Salesforce solutions. This role will be responsible for aligning Salesforce capabilities with business objectives, ensuring exemplary practices, and driving digital transformation within our IT landscape. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in solutions that leverage custom code. 

This is a remote position based in the Milwaukee/Chicagoland area that will collaborate with our team in Buffalo Grove IL while supporting manufacturing in North Carolina.

As a Solution Architect specializing in Salesforce technology, you will play a strategic role in designing and delivering innovative solutions that enhance our business processes and drive sustainable growth. You will bring to bear the full potential of Salesforce to architect adaptable and efficient solutions that directly improve operational efficiency, elevate the customer experience, and contribute to our bottom line.

As a key leader, you will partner with the Smart Infrastructure Electrification Automaton (EA) Business Excellence organization to ensure seamless integration of technology and business process optimization, driving alignment with enterprise goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and architect end-to-end Salesforce solutions that meet business needs while ensuring scalability, performance and maintainability. Collaborate with business partners, IT teams, and developers to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Offer technical mentorship and standard methodologies for Salesforce development, including configuration, customization, and integration with other enterprise applications. Define and maintain Salesforce architecture standards, configuration standards, custom development and coding standards and security models. Supervise data modeling, migration, and integration strategies across multiple Salesforce instances and third-party applications. Evaluate and recommend new Salesforce features, releases, and third-party solutions. Lead and mentor developers, administrators, and other Salesforce professionals to ensure successful project execution. Address and resolve complex Salesforce-related technical issues. Ensure compliance with IT security policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or higher required with a focus in data analytics, information systems, computer science, or software engineering. 9+ years of experience in Salesforce architecture, design, and development. Strong knowledge of Salesforce products, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and core platform capabilities Hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Components, LWC, Flow, and Visualforce. Proven expertise in Salesforce integration patterns using APIs, middleware (e.g., MuleSoft), and third-party connectors. Solid understanding of CI/CD, DevOps, and deployment strategies within Salesforce environments. Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data migration best practices. Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to communicate technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience working with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira. Ability to travel 10% Ability to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

Preferred Qualifications:

Salesforce Certified Application Architect Salesforce Certified System Architect Hands on experience with Experience Cloud and Field Service Experience using Copado and Git for DevOps and deployments Knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in cloud architecture. Background in manufacturing/B2B industries is a plus.

The pay range for this position is $89,670 - $153,720 annually with a target incentive of 10% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
