IT Receiving Analyst
Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking an IT Receiving Analyst to support its End-User Experience Portfolio. This role plays a key part in hardware receiving, inventory management, and asset lifecycle tracking, working closely with internal operations teams to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.

This is a fully onsite position, 5 days per week in Ottawa, offered as a 1-year contract to start.

Opportunity to work with a large, well-established financial institutionResponsibilities Under the direction of the Assistant Director, Supplier Management and Organizational Effectiveness, the Consultant will be responsible for the following services:
Receive, inspect, and verify goods for the End-User Experience Portfolio

Record and initiate goods receipts in SAP and ServiceNow

Perform asset tagging of hardware as required

Maintain accurate and up-to-date hardware records in ServiceNow, including serial numbers, lifecycle state, ownership, and location

Pack and ship hardware to alternate Bank locations as required

Organize and maintain inventory in the Head Office stockroom

Monitor stock levels and assist with forecasting to prevent shortages or overstocking

Conduct regular inventory audits and asset counts to validate data accuracy

Coordinate hardware disposal and recycling initiatives

Liaise with operations teams and vendors to resolve discrepancies or issues

Support other related activities and deliverables as requiredQualifications Must HavesMinimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Receiving Analyst, or in a similar operational role

Ability to work fully onsite, 5 days per week in Ottawa

Eligibility to obtain Reliability Clearance (minimum 5 years residing in Canada)

Nice to HavesExperience with ServiceNow, SAP, and/or SharePoint Online

Experience in inventory management and/or warehouse operations

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
