Job Description
A executive agency is looking for an IT Project Manager to join their team. This role will be primarily remote, but may require occasional onsite in Hartford CT. This resource will be the IT Project Manager leading the modernization of its Submissions Portal, which includes removing outdated UI components, migrating to Microsoft Power Apps, and implementing a reusable UI framework to improve scalability, accessibility, and user experience. The project will also introduce new UI features, a dedicated database, and real-time dashboards to support data-driven decision-making. The Project Manager will oversee the project timeline, manage tasks and deliverables across teams, and proactively address risks and issues. They will facilitate regular meetings, provide clear status updates, and ensure alignment with enterprise project management standards using tools like Monday.com and Azure DevOps. Reporting to the IT Customer Success Manager and IT Supervisor, and supported by the agency PMO, the Project Manager will also collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, maintain documentation, conduct systems analytics, and support optimized systems integration through strong partner relationships and well-informed recommendations.

Skills and Requirements
6+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager with proven experience managing data or analytics-focused projects, preferably in public health, healthcare, or government settings
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and tools such as Monday.com and Azure DevOps
Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
Demonstrated ability to facilitate meetings, track progress, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. PMP certification or equivalent experience preferred.
Experience in a public health or another state agency is helpful but not mandatory
Familiarity with data visualization and analytics platforms is a plus.
